PA6

PA6 (Nylon 6) is a common polyamide filament with balanced toughness, good impact resistance and abrasion performance. It absorbs moisture very quickly, which will cause bubbling, popping and poor surface finish if not dried properly. It is easier to print than PA66. Ideal for cable ties, hinges, wear-resistant gears, fasteners and general flexible mechanical parts. Recommended print settings: Nozzle 240–260°C, Heated Bed 70–90°C, Cooling Fan 0–20%. Enclosed chamber recommended; dry filament at 80–85°C for 6–8 hours before printing and keep moisture-proof storage.
